On October 2, Tam Hiep A Primary School reported to the People's Committee of Tam Hiep Ward to direct the handling of Soca trees that fell in the school grounds on the evening of October 1 due to thunderstorms; at the same time, consider supporting the school in lowering the height of trees exceeding the 3rd floor of the classroom, the logistics area and trees with high inclines, at risk of falling or breaking during thunderstorms.
Accordingly, the heavy rain accompanied by strong winds from 6pm to 7pm on October 1 caused a long-standing acacia tree (about 20m high, about 1m in diameter) to be uprooted and fallen in the school grounds, without causing any human casualties.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Tan Trang - Principal of Tam Hiep A Primary School said: Due to many high and many canopy, the school asked to cut and lower the height of the acacia trees and other trees to avoid danger to students, staff, teachers and staff of the school during the rainy and stormy season.



According to statistics, the school has more than 40 trees, mainly acorns and oil trees that have been around for decades. Currently, the school is facing financial difficulties in handling and reinforcing trees in the school grounds to ensure the safety of students and teachers during the rainy and stormy season.
