On November 5, the People's Committee of Tuyen Hoa district (Quang Binh province) said that heavy rain caused localized flooding in some bridges, culverts and residential areas in the area.
Heavy rain from the night of November 4 to noon of November 5 caused two overflow bridges leading to Ban Chuoi (Lam Hoa commune) to be flooded from 0.5 to 1 meter deep, locally isolating 19 households/96 people. The overflow bridge in Ban Ke was flooded about 0.6 meters deep, locally isolating 62 households/256 people.
The road from Ngu Hoa commune to Mai Hoa commune was flooded about 1 meter deep, traffic was impassable.
In hamlet 1 (Tan Lam village), the rising river water isolated 8 households and 21 people.
Heavy rain also isolated hamlet 1 (village 4 Thiet Son), the inter-commune road from Thach Hoa to Dong Hoa was flooded, making traffic impassable.
Some bridges in Dong Hoa commune such as Tang Bong bridge, Sung Me bridge, Hoi Hoi bridge, Dong Khen bridge are flooded from 1 - 3m.
Many bridges, culverts, and traffic routes in Huong Hoa, Thanh Hoa, Son Hoa, Le Hoa communes, Dong Le town, Thuan Hoa were flooded, causing temporary isolation.
