According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, on the afternoon of July 22, at Quat Lam Tourist Area (Giao Ninh Commune, Ninh Binh Province), high waves from offshore followed each other to the shore. The sea level rose, waves overflowed the dike surface and accompanied by heavy rain, causing some roads here to be deeply flooded. Some areas were even flooded up to 1m deep.




At the beginning of the flooded area, the authorities set up checkpoints to remind and prevent people from entering the flooded area.
Business establishments here are closed and locked. Many facilities have stopped operations before to reinforce houses to prevent and combat storm No. 3.



According to information from the People's Committee of Giao Ninh commune, outside the Quat Lam area, main roads passing through the area such as National Highway 37B, Provincial Road 489B, commune and inter-commune roads are not flooded.
However, some inland roads in Con Tau Tay and Lung Son residential groups were flooded locally, with a depth of 0.2 - 0.3m.
In addition, there are 6 casuarina trees about 6m high in the Lien Phong hamlet area (old) that have fallen. Currently, the authorities have handled the situation promptly, without affecting traffic in the area.
