On the night of July 26, Lao Cai province experienced prolonged heavy rain, causing local flooding in some low-lying areas, affecting people's lives and property.
As soon as the information was received, Cam Duong Ward Police mobilized 100% of the troops to be present at teams 28, 29 Pom Han and Thac Cam Duong village to wake up households, swim into deeply flooded areas to help people move to safety.


The floodwaters rose rapidly, causing many properties and some households to be completely flooded, and the livestock of households along the stream were severely damaged.
About 2 hours later, the water began to recede, with the motto "where the water recedes, there will be solutions", the ward police force and the people immediately started cleaning up the house, fixing the assets still in use that were submerged in floodwaters.


In Lao Cai ward, roads such as Ngo Quyen and Le Thanh were also deeply flooded, temporarily paralyzing traffic.
Some households in low-lying areas have proactively moved their belongings to higher ground to limit damage.
Local authorities continue to closely monitor the weather situation, deploy response plans, and ensure the safety of the people.
Currently, functional units are counting the damage caused by storms.
