Dong Nai - Floods suddenly poured down, causing some low-lying areas in Binh Phuoc ward to be deeply flooded. Flowers and fruit trees were washed away and damaged.

According to records, in Binh Phuoc ward, Dong Nai province, in the past two days, heavy rain has been continuing.

Heavy rain caused floods in the highlands, causing damage to many properties and crops of people living in Binh Phuoc ward and Dong Tam commune, Dong Nai province.

The heavily flooded area is mainly on both sides of rat stream, bordering Binh Phuoc ward and Dong Tam commune, Dong Nai province. The floodwaters caused more than 2 hectares of pineapple, melon and some other fruit trees of a household. The strong water caused more than 70,000 pineapple trees and the new automatic irrigation system with an investment of more than 100 million VND from the people to be swept away.

Other households living on both sides of rat stream were also affected, some households had their houses flooded, while some households had their gardens and trees flooded.

By the afternoon of September 9, the amount of water pouring in was still there. A large area of rubber gardens, fruit trees, and crops of the people was still flooded with 0.5 to 1m of water.

The authorities and leaders of Binh Phuoc ward went to the scene, arranging people and vehicles to promptly support people in the flooded area.

In the coming time, the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Binh Phuoc Ward will continue to arrange forces to directly receive information about incidents caused by floods. At the same time, actively proactively send forces to support people in cleaning their houses and verifying damage as a basis for supporting people according to regulations.
