The heavy rain that lasted for a long time on the night of August 20 and the morning of August 21 caused localized flooding on some streets in Bac Kan ward and Duc Xuan ward.
Many sections of the road in Group 4, Quargo area, Doi Ky Street, Bac Kan Ward and Group 3A, Group 11A, Duc Xuan Ward were flooded 30-50cm deep. The deep flood caused traffic congestion, many vehicles stalled. Some households living along the road were also flooded into their houses.
National Highway 3B from Bac Kan Ward to Cho Don Commune was eroded, rocks and soil flooded down, burying the road surface, causing traffic congestion in the section passing through Bach Thong Commune. The Bo Lech spillway, Hiep Luc commune was flooded, causing danger to road users.
At facility 2, Duc Xuan Primary School, a landslide occurred on the slopes of the townhouse behind the headquarters.
