According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 11:00 AM on March 11, in the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang Lake recorded an upstream water level of 114.45 m, lower than the normal water level (120 m). The water flow to the lake reached 99 m3/s and has not yet been discharged.
In the Northwest region, many large lakes on the Da River system are operating to generate electricity with relatively high discharge flow.
Lai Chau Lake has a water level of 294.75 m, close to the normal water level (295 m), water flow to the lake 328 m3/s and total discharge through the plant 224 m3/s.
Son La Lake is at 214.94 m, close to the normal water level of 215 m. The water flow to the lake is 392 m3/s, while the total discharge through the plant reaches 546 m3/s.
Hoa Binh Lake has a water level of 113.86 m, lower than the normal water level (117 m). The water flow to the lake is quite large, reaching 983 m3/s, while the total discharge through the plant is 421 m3/s.
Some other lakes are also maintaining stable power generation. Huoi Quang Lake has a water level of 369.51 m, a water inflow of 258 m3/s and discharge of 264 m3/s.
Ban Chat Lake recorded a water level of 445.58 m, much lower than the normal water level of 475 m; water inflow to the lake is 51 m3/s and discharge is 251 m3/s through turbines.
Meanwhile, Thac Ba Lake has a water level of 54.95 m, lower than the normal water level (58 m), water inflow to the lake is 101 m3/s and the total discharge through the plant is 64.28 m3/s.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather forecast for March 11th, the Northern region will have light rain in some places at night, foggy in some places in the early morning, sunny during the day. Cold at night and in the morning.
