According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 10:00 AM on March 7, in the Northwest region, large reservoirs on the Da River system continued to maintain high water levels.
Son La Lake is at 214.83m, close to the normal water level (215m), water flow to the lake is about 738 m3/s, total discharge is 995 m3/s through the plant.
Hoa Binh Lake reached 113.51m, water inflow to the lake 40 m3/s, total discharge 511 m3/s, mainly for power generation.
Lai Chau Lake is at 294.58m, close to the normal water level (295m), with a water flow of 520 m3/s, total discharge of 828 m3/s.
Some other reservoirs on this system such as Huoi Quang reached 369.75m (near the normal water level of 370m), total discharge 293 m3/s; Ban Chat reached 448.24m, total discharge 253 m3/s.
In the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir has a water level of 114.34m, lower than the normal water level (120m), water inflow to the reservoir is 87 m3/s, total discharge is 324.42 m3/s.
In the North Central region, Trung Son Lake reached 158.44m, inflow to the lake 95 m3/s, total discharge 128 m3/s. Ban Ve Lake has a water level of 194.06m and currently does not discharge water. Khe Bo Lake recorded a total discharge of 95.5 m3/s, while Quang Tri Lake discharged 14 m3/s.
In the South Central Coast, some reservoirs are generating electricity with small flow rates. Song Tranh 2 reservoir discharges 98.5 m3/s, Song Ba Ha reservoir discharges 120 m3/s, and Song Hinh discharges 31.21 m3/s. A Vuong and Song Bung 2 reservoirs are currently not discharging water.
In the Central Highlands region, many hydropower reservoirs maintain stable power generation. Se San 4 reservoir discharges 250 m3/s, Pleikrông reservoir discharges 112 m3/s, Srepok 3 reservoir discharges 147.86 m3/s. Some other reservoirs such as Ia Ly, Se San 3 and Dong Nai 3, Dong Nai 4 currently do not record discharge flow.
In the Southeast region, Tri An reservoir has a water level of 61.64m, a water inflow rate of 440 m3/s and has not been discharged.
