Many large hydropower reservoirs across the country fluctuate around or below normal water levels, mainly operating power generation through plants,

According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 11:00 AM on March 10, in the Northern and Northwest regions, reservoirs on the Da River system are operating to generate electricity with discharge flow equivalent to the amount of water flowing into the reservoir.

Son La Lake has a water level of 214.96 m, close to the normal water level of 215 m; water flow to the lake is 349 m3/s, total discharge is 363 m3/s.

Hoa Binh Lake recorded a water level of 113.75 m, lower than the normal water level by 117 m; water flow to the lake was 467 m3/s and the total discharge through the plant reached 460 m3/s.

Meanwhile, Lai Chau Lake has a water level of 294.64 m, close to the normal water level of 295 m; water inflow to the lake is 139 m3/s and total discharge is 35 m3/s.

Huo Huoi Quang Lake reached a water level of 369.63 m, close to the normal level of 370 m, water inflow to the lake 260 m3/s and total discharge 264 m3/s.

In the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir has a water level of 114.38 m, 120 m lower than the normal water level; water inflow to the reservoir is 127 m3/s and total discharge is 122.26 m3/s.

In the North Central region, Ban Ve reservoir recorded a water level of 193.77 m, water inflow to the reservoir 42 m3/s, total discharge 62 m3/s. Khe Bo reservoir has a very low water inflow to the reservoir, only about 0.26 m3/s, while the total discharge reaches 95.5 m3/s.

In the South Central Coast, Song Tranh 2 reservoir has a fairly large water inflow to the reservoir, reaching 389.92 m3/s, with a total discharge of 100 m3/s. Song Ba Ha reservoir recorded a water inflow to the reservoir of 81 m3/s, with a total discharge of 120 m3/s.

In the Central Highlands region, some hydropower reservoirs on the Se San and Srepok river systems are operating and generating electricity with large flows.

In which, Se San 4 reservoir has a water inflow and discharge rate of 320 m3/s; Se San 3 reservoir has a water inflow rate of 282 m3/s, total discharge rate of 290 m3/s.

In the Southeast region, Tri An reservoir recorded a water level of 61.7 m, close to the normal water level of 62 m; water inflow to the reservoir was 150 m3/s, while the total discharge reached 440 m3/s.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather forecast for March 10th, the Northern region has showers and thunderstorms in some places. The weather will turn cold with the lowest temperature around 15 - 18 degrees C, mountainous areas in some places below 14 degrees C.
