According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 2:15 PM on February 10, Tuyen Quang reservoir had an upstream water level of 113.65 m, lower than the normal water level by 120 m; water inflow to the reservoir reached 52 m3/s, total discharge flow 124.37 m3/s, all through the plant.
Thac Ba Lake recorded a water level of 54.92 m, lower than the normal water level of 58 m, maintaining discharge of 145.92 m3/s.
In the Northwest region, Son La reservoir has a water level of 214.48 m, approaching the normal water level of 215 m, with a total discharge flow of 696 m3/s.
Hoa Binh Lake reached a water level of 112.43 m, 117 m lower than the normal water level, currently discharging 303 m3/s through the plant, without overflowing.
In the North Central region, Trung Son Lake has a water level of 159.15 m, close to the normal water level of 160 m, discharge flow of 76 m3/s. Ban Ve Lake is currently lower than the normal water level, and has not been discharged.
In the South Central Coast, A Vuong, Song Bung 4, and Song Tranh 2 reservoirs maintain water levels lower than normal water levels by 1–3 m, with low discharge flow, mainly serving power generation.
In the Central Highlands, the water level of Pleikrông and Ialy reservoirs is 0.2–3 m lower than the normal water level; of which Pleikrông reservoir discharges 110 m3/s, Ialy reservoir discharges 35 m3/s. Some reservoirs such as An Khê, Srêpốk 3, Buôn Kuốp have limited discharge.
In the Southeast region, Tri An Lake recorded a water level of 61.75 m, 62 m lower than the normal water level, and has not yet discharged water.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather forecast for February 10th is that the cold air will weaken, the North will have light rain in some places. It will be cold, with deep cold in some mountainous areas.
The Southern region has showers in some places at night, sunny during the day.
