Many hydropower reservoirs across the country are currently lower than the normal water level, and the reservoirs mainly operate to generate electricity through plants, without overflowing.

According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 7:30 am on March 13, in the Northern region, hydropower reservoirs on the Da River system continued to generate electricity with large flows.

Son La Lake has an upstream water level of 214.97 m, close to the normal water level of 215 m, the total discharge through the plant reaches 1.125 m3/s.

Hoa Binh Lake has a water level of 113.95 m, discharging about 421 m3/s. Meanwhile, Lai Chau Lake recorded a water inflow to the lake of 418 m3/s and was discharged entirely through the plant.

At the same time, Tuyen Quang Lake had a water level of 114.53 m, a water inflow to the lake of 33 m3/s and has not been discharged. Thac Ba Lake has also not been discharged, the upstream water level reached 54.99 m.

In the North Central region, Khe Bo reservoir is generating electricity with a discharge flow of about 95.5 m3/s, while Trung Son, Ban Ve and Quang Tri reservoirs have not yet discharged water.

In the South Central region, most reservoirs have lower water levels than normal water levels. Some reservoirs are operating for power generation such as Vinh Son A with a discharge flow of 12.64 m3/s and Song Hinh discharging about 19.03 m3/s.

In the Central Highlands, the reservoirs on the Se San river system continue to maintain stable power generation. Ialy Lake discharges about 309 m3/s, Se San 3 discharges 225 m3/s, Se San 3A discharges 206 m3/s and Se San 4 discharges about 330 m3/s.

Meanwhile, in the Southeast region, Tri An Lake has a water level of 61.67 m, a water inflow to the lake of about 160 m3/s and a total discharge through the plant of about 214 m3/s.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather forecast for March 13th, the Northern region will have light rain in some places at night, foggy in some places in the early morning, sunny skies in the afternoon. Cold at night and in the morning.

The area from Quang Tri to the east of Dak Lak province has rain, showers, locally moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms.

The Southern region has showers and thunderstorms in some places at night, sunny days, especially the East has hot sunny places.
