According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 1:00 PM on March 26, in the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang Lake reached an altitude of 115.05m, nearly 5m lower than the normal water level.
Water flow to the reservoir is 126 m3/s, total discharge through the plant is 120.65 m3/s.
In the Northwest region, large reservoirs on the Da River system continue to maintain power generation.
Lai Chau Lake reached 293.01m, nearly 2m lower than the normal water level and has not been discharged.
Ban Chat Lake is at 435.33m, nearly 40m lower; Huoi Quang Lake is 368.21m, nearly 2m lower; Son La Lake reaches 214.05m, nearly 1m lower; Hoa Binh Lake reaches 115.94m, more than 1m lower. Water flow to Hoa Binh Lake reaches 897 m3/s, total discharge 551 m3/s.
Thac Ba Lake reached 53.92m, 4m lower and discharged 147.92 m3/s.
In the North Central region, the water level of Trung Son reservoir reached 157.08m, nearly 3m lower; Ban Ve reservoir 192.51m, more than 7m lower and has not been discharged; Khe Bo reservoir reached 64.31m, discharging 95.5 m3/s; Quang Tri reservoir reached 475.5m, discharging 9 m3/s.
The South Central Coast region recorded many lakes with low water inflow.
A Vuong Lake reached 373.25m; Bung 2 River reached 599.12m; Vinh Son A reached 771.18m and discharged nearly 10 m3/s; Bung 4 River reached 218.64m, discharged 49 m3/s; Tranh 2 River reached 174.06m, discharged more than 10 m3/s; Ba Ha River reached 104.26m; Hinh River reached 207.17m and discharged 53.28 m3/s.
In the Central Highlands, many reservoirs maintain power generation with large flows. Ialy Lake has a water inflow of 249 m3/s, discharging 56 m3/s.
Reservoirs on the Se San river system continue to operate at high levels: Se San 3 discharges 400 m3/s, Se San 3A discharges 458 m3/s, Se San 4 discharges 185 m3/s.
Some other lakes such as Pleikrong discharge 208 m³/s; Dai Ninh discharged 28 m³/s; Ham Thuan discharged 43.81 m³/s; Da Mi discharges 41 m³/s.
In the Southeast region, Tri An reservoir reached an elevation of 60.74m, 1.26m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the reservoir is 110 m3/s, total discharge is 749 m3/s to serve power generation and downstream regulation.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather forecast for March 26th, the Northern region will be less cloudy and sunny in the afternoon. The highest temperature is commonly 27 - 30 degrees Celsius, especially the Northwest region 31 - 34 degrees Celsius, with some places above 35 degrees Celsius.
The Southern region is sunny during the day, especially the East has places with hot sun above 35 degrees Celsius.
