According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 1:00 PM on April 5th, on the Da River system, Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant recorded a water flow to the reservoir of 302 m3/s, with a total discharge volume of 295 m3/s.
Son La Hydropower Plant discharges 153 m3/s, maintaining power generation to serve the national power system.
Meanwhile, Lai Chau, Huoi Quang, and Ban Chat reservoirs have low water inflow and have not generated discharge.
In the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang and Thac Ba reservoirs have water inflows of 50 m3/s and 62 m3/s respectively, continuing to operate stably, without regulating discharge.
The North Central region recorded Khe Bo and Trung Son reservoirs discharging electricity with flow rates of 171 m3/s and 82 m3/s; the remaining reservoirs have low flow rates.
In the South Central Coast, some reservoirs such as A Vuong, Song Bung 4, Vinh Son A, Song Hinh maintain discharge from 9–29 m3/s for power generation.
Notably in the Central Highlands, the group of reservoirs on the Se San river system continued to discharge strongly: Se San 3A discharged 206 m3/s, Se San 4 discharged 165 m3/s, Pleikrông discharged 91 m3/s, Buôn Kuốp discharged nearly 15 m3/s.
In the South, Tri An Hydropower Plant recorded a water flow to the reservoir of 210 m3/s but has not generated discharge.
