According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 12:50 PM on February 5th, Tuyen Quang Lake had an upstream water level of 113.62m, 120m lower than the normal water level. The water flow to the lake was at 55 m3/s, the total discharge was 124.1 m3/s, all through the plant.
In the Northwest region, Lai Chau reservoir recorded a water level of 293.51m, water flow to the reservoir 314 m3/s but has not been discharged. Ban Chat reservoir maintains a total discharge volume of 266 m3/s; Huoi Quang discharges 325 m3/s, all through the plant.
Two large reservoirs on the Da River, Son La and Hoa Binh, continue to generate stable electricity.
Son La Lake has a water level of 214.81m, approaching the normal water level (215m), water inflow to the lake reaches 1,209 m3/s, total discharge 456 m3/s.
Hoa Binh Lake recorded a water level of 111.55m, flow rate of 985 m3/s, total discharge rate of 433 m3/s.
Meanwhile, Thac Ba Lake has a water level of 55.24m, with a total discharge volume of 141.83 m3/s, all through the plant.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather forecast for February 5th, the Northern region has light rain in some places, early morning fog and light fog, sunny skies in the afternoon. Cold at night and in the morning, deep cold in some mountainous areas.
The Southern region has light rain in some places at night, sunny during the day.
