Northern hydropower reservoirs are lower than the normal water level, of which Hoa Binh reservoir is lower by 7.39 m and Lai Chau reservoir is lower by 3.97 m.

According to updated data at 9:15 am on September 13th, in the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir has an upstream water level of 115.85 m, 4.15 m lower than the normal water level of 120 m. Inflow to the reservoir is at 217 m3/s, total discharge is 0 m3/s.

In the Northwest region, Hoa Binh reservoir has an upstream water level of 109.61 m, 7.39 m lower than the normal water level of 117 m. Water flow to the reservoir is 80 m3/s, total discharge is 246 m3/s, of which 239 m3/s is through the spillway and 0 m3/s through the plant according to updated data.

Son La Lake has a water level of 210.88 m, 4.12 m lower than the normal water level of 215 m. Water flow to the lake is 175 m3/s, total discharge is 1,029 m3/s.

Lai Chau Lake has a water level of 291.03 m, 3.97 m lower than the normal water level of 295 m. Water flow to the lake is 265 m3/s, total discharge is 923 m3/s, of which 613 m3/s is through the spillway dam.

Ban Chat Lake has a water level of 471.02 m, 3.98 m lower than the normal water level of 475 m. Inflow to the lake is 431 m3/s, total discharge is 74 m3/s.

Huo Huoi Quang Lake has a water level of 368.51 m, 1.49 m lower than the normal water level of 370 m. Inflow to the lake is 368 m3/s, total discharge is 50 m3/s.

Thac Ba Lake has a water level of 54.96 m, 3.04 m lower than the normal water level of 58 m. Inflow to the lake is 46 m3/s, total discharge is 310 m3/s.
