According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 4:00 PM on June 20, on the Da River system, Son La Lake recorded the largest water inflow to the lake in the area with 1,797m3/s. The lake water level reached 196.08m, nearly 19m lower than the normal water level of 215m.
Hoa Binh Lake has a water flow to the lake of 1,214m3/s, while the total amount of water discharged through the plant is 238m3/s. The lake water level is at an elevation of 99.38m.
At Lai Chau Lake, the water inflow to the lake reached 556m3/s. The plant is generating electricity with a total discharge flow of 1,005m3/s. The lake water level reached 287.85m.
Both Ban Chat and Huoi Quang reservoirs maintain high water levels. Ban Chat reservoir reached 449.65m, about 25m lower than the normal water level of 475m; water inflow to the reservoir reached 384m3/s. Huoi Quang reservoir has a water level of 368.28m, only about 1.7m lower than the normal water level, water inflow to the reservoir reached 94m3/s.
In the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir has a water level of 98.81m, 21m lower than the normal water level of 120m. The inflow to the reservoir reached 377m3/s and has not been discharged.
Meanwhile, Thac Ba Lake recorded a water level of 48.79m, nearly 3m higher than the dead water level but 9m lower than the normal water level. The water flow to the lake reached 74m3/s, the total water discharge through the plant was at 280.88m3/s.

According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on June 20, the Northern region will have sunny days, with hot places, especially the delta region will have hot days, with hot places over 37 degrees Celsius.
The area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang and the eastern provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak have hot and intense heat with the highest temperature commonly 36-38 degrees C, in some places above 38 degrees C.
The Southern region will be sunny during the day, with showers and scattered thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening.
