According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 2:00 PM on April 26, in the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir reached a water level of 110.73m (120m lower than the normal water level), with a flow rate of 50 m3/s; total discharge through the plant was 480.74 m3/s.
In the Northwest region, Lai Chau Lake is at 291.11m (normal water level of 295m), with a flow rate of 211 m3/s and has not been discharged. Ban Chat Lake reached 432.19m, with a flow rate of 40 m3/s, and has not been recorded discharging water.
Huo Huoi Quang Lake recorded a water level of 369.99m, approaching the normal water level of 370m; inflow 50 m3/s, discharge for power generation 45 m3/s.
Separately, Son La reservoir reached 206.81m (lower than the normal water level by 215m), the flow rate reached 305 m3/s and discharge has not been carried out.
Hoa Binh Lake is at 109.5m (normal water level 117m), flow rate 429 m3/s; total discharge through the plant 422 m3/s.
Meanwhile, Thac Ba reservoir reached 51.45m, with a flow rate of 71 m3/s, and has not yet been discharged.
According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on April 26, the Northern region will be sunny with the highest temperature commonly 29 - 32 degrees C.
