According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 2:00 PM on April 29, in the Northeast region, the lake water level at Tuyen Quang Hydropower Plant reached 110.04m, nearly 10m lower than the normal water level. The water flow to the lake reached 50 m3/s, the total discharge through the plant was 130.25 m3/s.
On the Da River system, the water level of terraced lakes continues to be maintained at a low level. Lai Chau Hydropower Plant reservoir reached 291.21m; Ban Chat Hydropower Plant reached 432.71m; Huoi Quang Hydropower Plant reached 369.65m - all have not yet had to be regulated for discharge.
The water level at Son La Hydropower Plant reached 206.01m, the water flow to the reservoir was 153 m3/s, and no discharge has been generated.
Meanwhile, Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant reached 109.35m, the inflow to the reservoir was 408 m3/s, and is discharging 401 m3/s through the plant for power generation.
In the Chay River basin, Thac Ba Hydropower Plant reached a water level of 51.48m, a flow rate of 82 m3/s and has not yet discharged water.
According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on April 29, the Northern region will have rain, moderate rain, locally heavy to very heavy rain, then showers and thunderstorms in some places. The lowest temperature is about 20 - 24 degrees C. The highest temperature during the day is generally not exceeding 30 degrees C.
The Southern region will be hot during the day, with rain in the late afternoon, scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places.
