According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 4:00 PM on June 13, in the North Central region, Trung Son Lake had an upstream water level of 157.85 m, 2.15 m lower than the normal water level; Khe Bo Lake reached 64.05 m, 0.95 m lower.
Meanwhile, Ban Ve reservoir is at 175.34 m, 24.66 m lower and Quang Tri reservoir reaches 464.85 m, 15.15 m lower than the normal water level.
In the South Central region, A Vuong lake has a water level of 360.68 m, 19.32 m lower; Song Bung 2 lake reached 586.62 m, 18.38 m lower; Song Tranh 2 lake reached 158.61 m, lower than 16.39 m.
Vinh Son A, Vinh Son B and Vinh Son C reservoirs are respectively lower than the normal water level by 6.24 m, 6.66 m and 8.36 m.
The Central Highlands region recorded a number of lakes with water levels approaching the normal rise threshold such as Se San 3A reaching 238.82 m, 0.18 m lower; Dong Nai 4 reached 475.6 m, 0.4 m lower; An Khe reached 428.63 m, 0.37 m lower.
Meanwhile, large reservoirs such as Ialy, Pleikrông and Thượng Kon Tum are still 15-22 m lower than the normal water level.
According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on June 13, the delta and midland areas of the Northern region will be hot, with intense heat in some places with the highest daily temperature commonly 35-36 degrees Celsius, and in some places above 37 degrees Celsius.
The area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak will be hot, with intense heat in some places with the highest daily temperature commonly 35-37 degrees Celsius, in some places above 38 degrees Celsius.
The Central Highlands and Southern regions will have showers and thunderstorms in some places; especially in the late afternoon and evening, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with locally heavy rain.
