Hydropower reservoirs in the Central - Central Highlands region on July 30 maintain below normal water level, some reservoirs regulate water with large discharge flows.

According to updated data from the reservoir management and operation monitoring system at 16:00 on July 30, in the North Central region, Trung Son reservoir has an upstream water level of 151.96m, lower than the normal water level by 8.04m. The water flow to the reservoir reached 662m3/s, the total discharge flow corresponding to 662m3/s, including 186m3/s through the spillway and 476m3/s through the plant. The reservoir is opening 2 surface discharge gates.

Ban Ve Lake has a water level of 176.1m, nearly 24m lower than the normal water level, a water inflow of 307m3/s and has not been discharged. Khe Bo Lake reached a water level of 64.3m, a water inflow of 170.3m3/s, a total discharge flow of 432.3m3/s, all through the power plant. Quang Tri Lake maintains a water level of 457.67m, a total discharge flow of 8m3/s.

In the South Central Coast, most reservoirs have low water flow and do not have to regulate through spillways. A Vuong reservoir reached a water level of 352.49m, total discharge flow 28m3/s; Song Bung 4 reservoir discharged 49m3/s; Vinh Son A reservoir discharged 7.68m3/s through the plant. Song Bung 2, Song Tranh 2, Song Ba Ha, Vinh Son B and Vinh Son C reservoirs have not yet discharged water.

In the Central Highlands, Thuong Kon Tum Lake has a water level of 1,142.12m, Pleikrông Lake reaches 543.38m, all operating stably. Ialy Lake reaches a water level of 497.37m, water inflow rate of 138m3/s, total discharge rate of 106m3/s.

Notably, Se San 4 reservoir has a total discharge flow of 690m3/s, the highest in the area and much higher than the water flow to the reservoir (102m3/s). Srepok 3 reservoir discharges 382m3/s, while Buon Kuop reservoir discharges 104.49m3/s, including 15.49m3/s through the spillway and 89m3/s through the plant, opening 1 deep discharge gate. Buon Tua Srah reservoir maintains a total discharge flow of 83m3/s.

In the Dong Nai River basin, Dong Nai 4 reservoir has a water level of 475.64m, total discharge flow of 203.08m3/s; Dong Nai 3 reservoir discharges 79.5m3/s. Don Duong, Dai Ninh, Ham Thuan and Da Mi reservoirs all maintain water levels below normal water levels, operate power generation and regulate according to procedures.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting on July 30, the Northern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with locally heavy rain.

The Central Highlands region has showers and thunderstorms in some places, especially in the afternoon and night there are scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain in some places.
