On December 24, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs said that in 2024, the labor relations situation in the area was generally stable and harmonious.
There were only 3 collective work stoppages in the province (during July-August 2024) mainly due to salary, income and working conditions. These cases were promptly reported and resolved by relevant units, thereby helping workers quickly return to production, ensuring security, order and safety at the enterprise.
The implementation of salary policies at enterprises is mostly guaranteed according to regulations. Most enterprises have bonuses with an average of 1 month's salary according to the labor contract for employees who work for 12 months in a year (or according to the ratio of the number of months worked in a year).
In particular, the highest 2025 New Year bonus in 100% state-owned enterprises is 15 million VND; in joint stock companies with state capital contribution, the highest is 61 million VND.
In private enterprises, the highest bonus is 170 million VND; in foreign-invested enterprises, the highest is 182 million VND.
The highest Lunar New Year bonus for 2025 in 100% state-owned enterprises is 43 million VND; in joint stock companies with state capital, the highest is 88 million VND.
In private enterprises, the highest bonus is 170 million VND; in foreign-invested enterprises, the highest is 300 million VND (in an enterprise in Dat Do district).
In addition, some private enterprises and foreign-invested enterprises recorded a New Year bonus of only VND100,000 and a Lunar New Year bonus of only VND200,000.
In the coming time, the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs will continue to coordinate with the Provincial Federation of Labor, the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board and district-level localities to grasp the situation of labor relations, the implementation of salary and bonus regimes and regulations on labor laws during the Lunar New Year 2025 to have timely solutions to ensure the rights and stabilize the lives of workers as well as the operations of enterprises in the area.
