On November 9, according to the reporter's source, the People's Council of Phu Tho province issued Resolution No. 27/2025/NQ-HDND stipulating the monthly allowance for village captains and the labor day allowance for militia forces performing their duties in the area.
The subjects of application include Village team leader and local militia, mobile militia, air defense militia, artillery, reconnaissance, information, engineering, defense, and health.
According to the resolution, the monthly allowance for the Village Team Leader is 1,170,000 VND/person/month.
When militia forces are mobilized or transferred to perform their duties, they will receive a labor day allowance of VND 327,600/person/day.
In case the term of performing militia and self-defense service is extended, the labor day allowance will increase by 50% of the current labor day allowance.
For the task of fighting terrorism, releasing hostages, suppressing crimes; dispersing protests and riots; preventing dangerous epidemics; rescuing, fighting and overcoming disasters in dangerous areas, militia will also receive an increase of 50% of the daily allowance according to the decision of the competent authority.
The Resolution takes effect from January 1, 2026.
When this resolution comes into effect, previous regulations related to the allowance and subsidy levels for Village captains and militia will expire.
