On the afternoon of November 6, the People's Committee of Lao Cai province issued an official report on the incident of a fight between two students in Yen Bai ward.
Accordingly, at around 4:00 p.m. on November 5, Quang Trung Secondary School received a report from Yen Bai Ward Police informing the school about two 8E class students, V.T.D. and N.L.T. a fight broke out in the Km5 lake area after school.
Immediately after receiving the information, the homeroom teacher of class 8E and the families of the two students took N.L.T. to Lao Cai General Hospital No. 1 for health check-ups.
According to initial results, T. suffered a soft tissue injury and is currently in stable health.
The family of V.T.D. took him to Yen Bai Ward Police to report the incident.
Quang Trung Secondary School has prepared a report and provided all information related to the incident to the People's Committee of Yen Bai Ward and the Department of Internal Security (Lao Cai Provincial Police).
The Department of Education and Training of Lao Cai province has requested the People's Committee of Yen Bai ward and the school to closely coordinate with the authorities to verify and clarify the incident.
At the same time, the Department requested Quang Trung Secondary School to support and accompany the family of student N.L.T. during the examination and treatment process; strengthen propaganda and education of students about civilized behavior, respect teachers and friends; continue to promote coordination between families - schools - society in educating students.
The cause of the incident is being further investigated and clarified by the authorities.
