After merging Bac Lieu and Ca Mau provinces, Ca Mau Television channel (CTV symbol, Channel 34 UHF, frequency 578 MHz) is the main channel, producing and broadcasting programs to serve political tasks and serve the people. broadcast time is 24 hours/day. Bac Lieu Television channel (ckernel symbol) will stop appearing, only retaining the entire technical infrastructure of Channel 33 UHF to re-stream the entire content of the broadcast program of Ca Mau Radio and Television until the contract between the broadcasting unit and the current Bac Lieu Radio and Television Station ends. It is expected that on June 28, Bac Lieu Newspaper will issue the final issue before the merger.
Regarding radio, unify the use of broadcast waves of the current Ca Mau Newspaper and Radio and Television Station as the main channel; unify the use of Ca Mau Newspaper as the main, regular and keep current publications: Dat Mui, Song Ngu Viet - Khmer, ... At the same time, maintain all waves of the new Bac Lieu Radio and Television Station to rebroadcast programs of the new Ca Mau Newspaper and Radio and Television Station.
Speaking at the conference, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee Huynh Quoc Viet suggested that the Newspaper and Radio and Television Station of Ca Mau - Bac Lieu provinces study and allocate appropriate programs. The first news program after the merger needs to build a special program, recording the launching anniversary for the voice representative agency of the Party Committee, government and people of the province.
After the merger, it is necessary to consolidate and upgrade the Dat Mui Newspaper with diverse content and images to avoid waste. Regarding the final issue of Bac Lieu newspaper before the merger, it is recommended to include in the contents and images of activities of the two provinces, articles that need to be meticulous, multi-dimensional recording of the thoughts and feelings of the people and functional sectors before the important event of the locality.
