On July 14 - the first day Vinh Long province organized a reception for cadres, civil servants and public employees from Tra Vinh, Ben Tre (old) to work in Vinh Long, contributing to stabilizing the organization after the merger. Many officials expressed their gratitude and hoped that this support policy would be maintained until stabilizing their housing and accommodation near their workplace.
Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Tuyen - a civil servant at the Vinh Long Provincial Public Administration Service Center - said that on the first day of being taken in a traffic jam, she was present very early at the gathering place in Tra Vinh (old) so as not to be late for the rolling hours.
"Although the distance is more than 60km, I feel happy to be supported by safe and punctual transportation. Not having to worry about travel helps me feel secure at work and have more time to take care of my family, Ms. Tuyen shared.

Mr. Nguyen Huynh Nhan Trung - Civil servant of the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation (formerly working in the old Ben Tre province) - also said that being taken on a daily route helps him feel secure, without having to worry about long roads or traffic safety.
On the first day of being taken on the goods, he felt that this was a very timely support, helping cadres, civil servants and public employees feel secure at work in the new place. His family is also more assured because they have a clear travel schedule, ensuring time every day.
"I hope the provincial leaders will continue to maintain or have appropriate support policies after Phuong Trang Company has completed the one-month support period," Mr. Trung shared.
Speaking with Lao Dong, Mr. Nguyen Quang Khai - Deputy Director of the Department of Construction of Vinh Long province - informed that the total number of cadres, civil servants, and public employees of departments and branches who registered to transport vehicles was 860, more than 400 cadres compared to the initial registration.
However, on the morning of July 14, in fact, only 120 people from Ben Tre (old) and 36 people from Tra Vinh (old) used this service supported by Phuong Trang Passenger Car Joint Stock Company.

According to Mr. Khai, there are two main reasons for the difference. First, on the first day, many people chose to ride motorbikes to Vinh Long to proactively transport vehicles for the next working days, from the gathering point to the office and vice versa.
Second, although the units have registered all the required agencies, in reality, some headquarters are still under repair, so officers and employees are temporarily working at the old location.
"The Department has issued a document requesting agencies to review and re-register the number of vehicle users who transport vehicles each day, or choose the option to go early in the week - by the end of the week, and send a report to the Department as soon as possible," said Mr. Khai.
