On March 30, information from the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee said that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has issued Decision No. 713-QD/TU (dated March 27, 2026) on ending the operation of the Steering Committee for protecting and caring for the health of provincial officials.
According to the decision, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee agreed to terminate the operation of the Steering Committee for protecting and caring for the health of provincial officials; and at the same time transfer the leadership and management functions of this work to the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee.
The adjustment aims to unify focal points, ensure that the work of protecting and taking care of officials' health is carried out effectively, in accordance with the requirements of the organizational structure.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee assigned the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee to lead the Provincial People's Committee to direct the Department of Health to organize the implementation of examination, treatment, and health care for officials.
At the same time, the Department of Health is responsible for managing staff, assets, finances, documents, and records related to the work of protecting and caring for the health of officials under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.
The Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee requests the Organization Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, relevant agencies, units and individuals to seriously implement and enforce Decision No. 713-QD/TU.
