Mr. Hoang Nghia Hieu elected to hold the position of Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Council

    Nghe An - At the first session, the 19th Provincial People's Council elected the Chairman and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Council for the 2026–2031 term.

    On March 27, the first session of the 19th Nghe An Provincial People's Council, term 2026–2031, elected key leadership positions of the Provincial People's Council.

    Accordingly, Mr. Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Council of Nghe An province for the term 2026–2031.

    The two people elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council include: Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee and Duong Dinh Chinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Loc commune.

    The consolidation of leadership positions of the Provincial People's Council aims to ensure that the local government apparatus operates stably, effectively, and efficiently, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period.
