On the morning of August 16, at Ho Chi Minh Square (Truong Vinh Ward), the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Nghe An coordinated with the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace to organize the opening of the thematic exhibition "Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh: From the Fall of independence to the era of rising up".
The event was attended by comrades: Cu Thi Minh - Deputy Director of the President Ho Chi Minh relic site at the Presidential Palace; Colonel Hoang Quoc Hung - Political Department of Military Region 4. On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; comrade Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrade Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and representatives of departments, branches and a large number of people.

In her opening speech, Director of Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Tran Thi My Hanh emphasized: On September 2, 1945, President Ho Chi Minh read the "Independence Declaration" to give birth to a democratic Republic of Vietnam, opening an era of independence and freedom for the nation. After 80 years, under the leadership of the Party and Ho Chi Minh's ideology, Vietnam has firmly overcome challenges, entering an era of strong integration and development.
The thematic exhibition introduces nearly 200 documentary photos, reflecting the journey of struggle for independence, defending the Fatherland, and the great and comprehensive achievements of the country over the past 80 years. This is an opportunity for today's generation to be more proud, appreciate the past and continue to write the glorious history of the nation.
The theme "Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh: From the autumn of independence to the era of rising up" takes place from August 16 to September 18, 2025 at Ho Chi Minh Square, Nghe An.
