On December 20, information from Nghe An Provincial People's Committee said that it had just issued a document on the planning for the construction and architectural design of the Provincial Administrative Center.
Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee approved the location and scale of the planned land for the construction of the Provincial Administrative Center in Vinh Loc ward and Dong Loc commune, with an area of about 3045 hectares.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to urgently organize the preparation of local adjustments to the above-mentioned area planning, study and expand the scope of planning to ensure the synchronization and completeness of functional areas and connection of technical infrastructure and social infrastructure. The adjustment of the planning and architectural plan of the Provincial Administrative Center must be completed in December 2025, as a basis for implementing the next steps.
In addition, the Department of Construction coordinated with the consulting unit to study the architectural plan of the Provincial Administrative Center in a modern, solemn, highlight-based direction, in line with the position of the provincial administrative center.
The Provincial People's Committee requested to complete all related procedures to ensure the groundbreaking of the construction of the Provincial Administrative Center in the first quarter of 2026.
In addition, the Department of Construction shall preside over and coordinate with the People's Committees of Vinh Loc Ward and Dong Loc Commune to strengthen the management of land use planning and construction planning on both sides of Vinh - Cua Lo Avenue, to ensure the land fund develops synchronously and modernly.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment is assigned to review the contents of planning and land use plans in the project implementation area, determine the appropriateness according to regulations, propose a handling plan and send it to the Department of Construction before December 25, 2025 for synthesis and reporting to the Provincial People's Committee.
