According to the project to arrange administrative units at district and commune levels in the period of 2023 - 2025 of Ha Tinh province, Thach Ha district has 11 communes merged into Ha Tinh city, including: Thach Dai, Tan Lam Huong, Tuong Son, Thach Thang, Thach Van, Thach Hoi, Thach Tri, Thach Lac, Thach Khe, Thach Hai, Dinh Ban.
From the morning of September 22, 91 polling stations in 11 communes of Thach Ha district simultaneously organized to collect voters' opinions. 55,218 people with 19,592 households in 91 villages participated in the vote. Voter voting in the area lasted until 5:30 p.m. on September 22.
On the same morning, villages and residential groups in Dong Loc town and Trung Loc commune, Can Loc district also organized to collect voters' opinions on merging the entire natural area and population of Trung Loc commune into Dong Loc town.
5,589 voters at 19 polling stations in villages and residential groups of Dong Loc town and Trung Loc commune participated in the vote.
Previously, on September 21, villages and residential groups in Loc Ha district simultaneously organized to collect voters' opinions on merging administrative units in the 2023-2025 period.
According to the Project on rearranging administrative units at district and commune levels in the period of 2023 - 2025 of Ha Tinh province, the entire natural area and population of Ho Do commune will be merged into Ha Tinh city.
The entire natural area and population of the remaining 11 localities including: Loc Ha town, Thach Kim, Thach Chau, Thach My, Mai Phu, Thinh Loc, Binh An, Tan Loc, Hong Loc, Phu Luu, Ich Hau will be merged into Thach Ha district.
Accordingly, Loc Ha district will be removed from the district-level administrative unit in Ha Tinh.
The entire Loc Ha district organized to collect opinions from more than 52,000 voters on the merger of administrative units in the period of 2023 - 2025 with 92 polling stations in villages and residential groups.
Also on September 21, villages and residential groups in 8 wards and communes in Ha Tinh city collected voters' opinions on merging administrative units in the 2023-2025 period.
According to the Project on arranging administrative units at district and commune levels in the period of 2023 - 2025 of Ha Tinh province, in Ha Tinh city, Tran Phu ward will be established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Thach Linh ward and the natural area and population of residential groups 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9 of Tran Phu ward.
Establish Bac Ha ward on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Bac Ha ward, the entire natural area and population of Nguyen Du ward and the entire residential group 6 of Tran Phu ward.
Establish Thach Hung ward on the basis of the original status of Thach Hung commune; Thach Trung ward on the basis of the original status of Thach Trung commune; Thach Ha ward on the basis of the original status of Thach Ha commune; Dong Mon ward on the basis of the original status of Dong Mon commune.
