On October 31, the People's Committee of Trung Thuan commune (Quang Tri province) said that a drowning incident had just occurred in the area, killing one person.
According to initial information, the victim was Mr. T.P (born in 1972, residing in Ha Tien village, Trung Thuan commune).
Late on October 30, Mr. P went to the rice field to cast fishing nets and unfortunately drowned.
After receiving the news, local authorities and people organized a search. At around 1:00 a.m. on October 31, Mr. P's body was discovered.
After that, the authorities handed over the body to the family for funeral arrangements. The authorities of Trung Thuan commune visited and encouraged the victim's relatives.
