On June 18, Truong Xuan Commune Police (Lam Dong) said they are coordinating with relevant units to collect and handle 1,140 bullets discovered in people's gardens in the area.
Previously, while digging a coffee planting pit in his garden in Bu Pah hamlet, Mr. Y Win (48 years old) discovered many metal objects shaped like military ammunition, so he quickly reported them to the authorities.

After receiving information, Truong Xuan Commune Police sent forces to the scene to verify, coordinate with relevant units to organize collection and counting.
Through inspection, functional forces collected a total of 1,140 bullets suspected to be military ammunition.
All ammunition is old, oxidized, no longer has clear symbols, types, and the technical condition and usability have not been determined.
To ensure safety, functional forces have cordoned off the area where the ammunition was detected; and at the same time expanded the scope of inspection to detect and collect more remaining explosives if any.
Currently, Truong Xuan Commune Police have handed over all 1,140 bullets to the Commune Military Command to continue handling according to regulations.
