As Lao Dong Newspaper has reported through many articles since the end of July 2022, in Phu Tho province, provincial road 313C section passing through the communes of Dieu Luong, Yen Duong and Van Khuc of Cam Khe district is damaged and seriously degraded after 2 decades of not being repaired or upgraded.
By the end of 2023, the Department of Transport of Phu Tho province has invested 45 billion VND to repair the entire 7.27 km of provincial road 313C from km7+630 to km14+900.
On November 12, returning to provincial road 313C through Yen Duong and Van Khuc communes after nearly a year, Lao Dong Newspaper reporters noted that the project road has now completed the roadbed, drainage system, and some sections have been paved with asphalt and crushed stone...
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam - a resident of Doi hamlet, Yen Duong commune - excitedly said: "We are very happy because after 2 decades, the main road of the commune has been repaired and upgraded, no longer in disrepair and full of potholes like before."
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, Mr. Pham Van Duc - Vice Chairman of Yen Duong Commune People's Committee - said that Provincial Road 313C is the main and most important traffic route of Yen Duong Commune and some neighboring communes. The investment in repair and upgrading has been the desire of the people for many years.
"Hopefully, the entire route from Yen Duong commune to Van Khuc commune will soon be paved with asphalt, completing all items, ensuring the travel needs of the people, helping to change the face of the countryside, creating momentum for socio-economic development" - Mr. Duc shared.
According to information from the Traffic Construction and Maintenance Project Management Board (under the Department of Transport) - the investor's representative, the project scale is to repair damage to provincial road 313C from km7+630 to km14+900 with a total length of 7.27 km, the road surface structure is completed with asphalt concrete, the drainage system is built (longitudinal ditches, horizontal culverts) and the traffic safety system is completed according to standards. Construction time is from December 8, 2023 to May 31, 2025.
Information on progress from the project management investor representative added that, up to now, the project has completed the construction of the longitudinal drainage system, is implementing the construction of the crushed stone foundation layer type I and II, the asphalt concrete pavement reaches 1.6/7.3 km, the volume reaches 65% of the contract value.
In the near future, the joy will double for the people of Yen Duong and Van Khuc communes, when together with the provincial road 313C which is about to be completed, the main inter-regional road connecting Ho Chi Minh road with National Highway 70B, National Highway 32C of Phu Tho province to Yen Bai section passing through the area will soon be handed over and put into full use.
