On the afternoon of July 31, the leader of Phu Hoa 2 commune, Dak Lak province, said that the victim was discovered in a ditch passing through Phung Tuong 2 village and had been handed over to his family for funeral arrangements.
Previously, at around 4am on July 31, some people in Phung Tuong 2 village were exercising on the road when they discovered a woman in the ditch and immediately reported it to the authorities.
Upon receiving the report, Phu Hoa 2 Commune Police and other forces were present at the scene and conducted verification work.
Initially, it was determined that the victim had died before. The victim wore a helmet and personal documents under the name N.T.K.Th (residing in Binh Kien ward).
Checking around the scene, the authorities discovered a motorbike identified as belonging to the victim in a ditch in Phu Hoa 1 commune.
This area has recorded a number of accidents, the cause of which is that road users who are not careful in observing can easily fall into the ditch.
The incident is currently being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
