On October 18, the Department of Economy, Infrastructure and Urban Areas of Hoi Phu Ward (Gia Lai) said that in the Chu A mountain area (Group 4, Hoi Phu Ward), there was a situation where people tu-leveled and expanded the road to the mountain.
As soon as it was discovered, on October 3, the unit directed specialized officers and local forces to inspect and verify. Thereby, it was determined that Mr. Pham Van Dai - representative of households cultivating in the area - had leveled the road to the top of the mountain.

On October 9, the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Affairs Department of the ward invited Mr. Dai to work. Mr. Dai has presented 6 Land Use Rights Certificates with a total area of nearly 4 hectares, used to grow perennial crops and other annual crops.
Mr. Dai explained that since 2014, he has bought many plots of land in Chu A mountain for agricultural cultivation, currently growing bananas, coffee, fruit trees and other annual crops.
Because the road to the mountains is currently steep, heavy rain causes erosion, the road surface is narrow, making it difficult to travel, so at the beginning of the rainy season in 2025, Mr. Dai hired a car to level and renovate the road. At the meeting, Mr. Dai pledged not to continue leveling the land.
Through inspection, the road is about 1km long, 3-5 m wide, connecting Ly Chinh Thang Street to the top of Chu A Mountain, a travel route serving people's agricultural cultivation. The Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Affairs Department of the ward has drawn up a record, requesting Mr. Dai to stop leveling, and at the same time strengthen inspection and handling if there are violations.
In the coming time, the unit will verify and mark the road boundary to avoid encroachment, and at the same time mobilize people to clear forest dust and trees on both sides of the road to ensure a path for agricultural cultivation.
