The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has just compiled the opinions and recommendations of voters and people sent to the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
In the field of security, order and social safety, people support the promulgation and implementation of Decree 168 regulating administrative sanctions for violations of traffic order and safety in the field of road traffic. The Decree has contributed to raising awareness of compliance with traffic laws, initially having more positive changes.
Behaviors such as running red lights, speeding, not wearing helmets, going in the wrong direction... have decreased significantly. The implementation of the traffic police force's plan to inspect and handle violations of traffic safety and order, especially the work of inspecting and controlling alcohol concentration, has received high attention and approval from the people.
Strictly handling violations will contribute to creating changes in awareness and forming habits for traffic participants, contributing to ensuring traffic safety nationwide.
However, voters also believe that in recent times, traffic accidents and social evils have tended to decrease, but the nature of the incident is more complicated, affecting production and people's lives.
In addition, traffic insecurity in industrial parks is a worrying issue, directly affecting workers because industrial parks often have a large number of trucks, containers, motorbikes and pedestrians, leading to a high risk of collisions.
Many roads are degraded, lacking traffic lights, blurred road markings or no separate paths for workers, while workers work overtime simultaneously, leading to serious congestion, especially in the early morning and evening.
Some workers do not wear helmets, go in the wrong direction or run red lights to quickly return home, causing danger. Some industrial parks do not have clear signs or lane division lines or do not have pedestrian overpasses or underpasses or have overpasses or underpasses that are used for the wrong purpose such as street vendors, water stalls, parking lots, etc. Lack of functional forces to direct traffic and guide traffic.
Voters requested the grassroots police force to urgently assign, decentralize, and arrange forces to carry out tasks in accordance with the model and organization of the police force in the area to operate regularly and continuously, without interruption.
