From the morning, cold air covered many wards and communes in Ho Chi Minh City. Recorded the lowest temperature fluctuating around 15-17 degrees Celsius (old Binh Duong province in some places 15 degrees Celsius), some places felt colder due to strong Northeast winds.

On routes such as Truong Chinh, Dien Bien Phu, Pham Van Dong... many people who go to work early have to wear thick coats, wrap scarves around their necks. Some people also cover themselves with thin blankets to keep warm.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh (resident of Gia Dinh ward) said: "It's been a long time since I've seen Ho Chi Minh City so cold. In the morning, driving to work, the wind blows continuously, if you don't wear more clothes, it's very easy to catch the cold.
Many people in Ho Chi Minh City take advantage of getting up early, going out to play, exercise, eat to enjoy the rare chilly weather.

According to the Southern Hydrometeorological Station, the weather is chilly due to the continental cold high pressure continuing to strengthen southward with stable intensity. Northeast winds are operating with strong intensity over the sea area in the Southeast region. Above, the subtropical high pressure with its axis through the Central region is operating stably.
During this period, the weather is dry, humidity is low, people need to be wary of the risk of high fires and explosions. In addition, the temperature difference between day and night is large, the night and early morning are chilly, and strong sunshine during the day can affect health, especially for the elderly, young children and people with respiratory diseases.
