Reputable people in Dlie Ya contribute to changing the face of rural areas

Dak Lak - In recent years, reputable people in Dlie Ya commune have been a bridge to help local authorities change the face of rural areas.

Still many difficulties

Dlie Ya commune is a difficult area of Dak Lak province, with a large number of ethnic minorities living there.

Wide terrain, scattered population, while the transportation system in some areas has not been synchronously invested, is significantly affecting people's lives and production.

In many villages and hamlets, some roads have deteriorated for a long time, causing difficulties for travel, transportation of agricultural materials and consumption of agricultural products. This is also one of the obstacles to the socio-economic development and sustainable poverty reduction goals of the locality.

Mr. Doan Dinh Loi (66 years old), in Ea Chieu village, Dlie Ya commune, is a long-time prestigious person in the locality. He has been trusted and elected as a prestigious person by the people for 20 years. Before that, he had 5 years as village head and 23 years as secretary of the Party cell.

Attached to the area from the early days, when Dlie Ya commune was not yet established, Mr. Loi clearly understands the difficulties that people here are facing. According to him, people in the village well comply with regulations, maintain security and order, but economic development still has many limitations.

Currently, Ea Chieu village has about 400 households, of which about 30 are poor households.

The awareness and production experience of some households are still limited, while many families have little cultivated land. Roads are difficult to travel, so the transportation and consumption of agricultural products face many obstacles, affecting economic development," Mr. Loi shared.

Besides, schools are far away, making it time-consuming to pick up and drop off children, making it difficult for people to concentrate on labor and production.

According to Mr. Loi, in order for people to gradually escape poverty, in addition to the support of the State, it is necessary to arouse the spirit of self-reliance, hard work and boldly convert crops suitable to local conditions.

Mr. Loi himself is also one of the pioneers in family economic development. On an area of about 2ha, he grows coffee and durian. From practical production, he accumulates experience and then shares and guides people in the village to apply it to production.

One of the households that has gradually risen out of difficulty is the family of Ms. Dinh Thi Yen (born in 1952), in Ea Chieu village. Her family has 6 members, living in Dak Lak since 1995. After many years of hard work, by 2025, her family has escaped poverty.

Currently, Ms. Yen's family has about 6 sao of durian. This is the result of efforts to overcome difficulties, work hard and boldly invest in economic development.

Ms. Yen said that during the production process, her family encountered many difficulties, especially travel, transportation of supplies and agricultural products due to limited roads.

However, thanks to the encouragement and guidance of reputable people in the village, along with the efforts of family members, life has gradually stabilized and risen out of poverty.

Reputable people promote core roles

In recent years, prestigious people in Dlie Ya commune, Dak Lak province, have played a bridging role, contributing to bringing the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws closer to ethnic minorities.

Not only propagating and mobilizing people to well comply with regulations and maintain security and order, reputable people are also the core force in mass mobilization work.

With their voice and prestige, they actively mobilize families with economic conditions to join hands with local authorities to build infrastructure, improve roads, and contribute to building new rural areas.

Although the contributions of each individual may not be large, when spread in the community, they have created positive changes, contributing to changing the face of villages and hamlets and improving people's lives.

Typically, Mr. Nguyen Sam, over 70 years old, in Ea Chieu village. His family currently has about 7 hectares of durian. Not only focusing on developing the family economy, Mr. Sam also regularly shares production experiences, supports people in the village to develop the economy, and gradually stabilize their lives.

With the desire to contribute to building his homeland, Mr. Sam also actively participates in common activities of the village, mobilizing his family and people to contribute to building infrastructure.

In which, he joined hands to support concrete pouring and road construction, contributing to creating favorable conditions for people to travel and transport agricultural products.

Similarly, Mr. Chung Van Cao (born in 1968), in Ea Dinh village, Dlie Ya commune, is also a typical example in the movement to develop the economy and join hands to build the community.

As a person with experience in production, Mr. Cao not only strives to build a family economy but also actively guides and supports households facing difficulties in the production process.

In addition, Mr. Cao also actively coordinates and supports local authorities in improving infrastructure, mobilizing people to join hands to repair and upgrade roads in the village.

According to Mr. Cao, building roads not only serves travel needs but also creates conditions for people to develop production and bring agricultural products to more convenient consumption places.

In recent years, the People's Committee of Krong Nang district (old) and Dlie Ya commune have always prioritized resources from national target programs to focus on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

Since then, people's material and spiritual lives have been improved, and the number of poor and near-poor households has decreased year by year.
