On March 2nd, Dak Lak province is urgently completing preparations for the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels, term 2026–2031, ensuring solemnity, on schedule and according to regulations.
In ethnic minority villages such as Ede and M'nong in remote areas, village elders and prestigious people continue to promote the role of "living milestones", both preserving customs and being a bridge between the government and the people.
Before the election day, many village elders expressed their excitement and responsibility, considering this not only a citizen's right but also a sending of faith and expectation for a new term to develop and make life warmer.

Mr. Y Bâm Ksor, a reputable person in Dliê Ya commune, hopes that the elected delegates will fulfill their responsibilities, pay attention to upgrading rural transport in remote areas, issue production support policies suitable to the conditions of each region; care for ethnic minority children to receive full education, not drop out of school halfway; and at the same time listen to the voices from villages, especially in preserving traditional culture and preserving the cultural space of the Central Highlands gongs.
Mr. Y Bun Tang Ting - elder of Krong No commune - said that thanks to the grassroots communication system, village meetings and mobile propaganda, people have grasped the biographies and action programs of the candidates.
Election day is a festival for the people, people go in large numbers, as happy as a traditional festival, choosing people who are dedicated to the village, for their children and grandchildren later," he shared.

Along with the joyful atmosphere is the thorough preparation for security and order. With the characteristics of a large area with borders, the police force, especially in border communes, has proactively developed plans to ensure absolute safety for the election day.
Major Le Tien Dat, Head of Ia Lop Commune Police, said that grassroots police are closely coordinating with border guards, militia and self-defense forces and authorities to review the population, ensuring that voter lists are accurate, not omitted, and not duplicated.
At the same time, promote legal propaganda to help people be vigilant against false information and distorted arguments that may affect voters' psychology.

The Provincial Election Commission has announced the official list of 25 candidates for the 16th National Assembly in 5 constituencies to elect 15 National Assembly deputies; 141 candidates for the Provincial People's Council in 27 constituencies to elect 84 deputies for the 11th Provincial People's Council, term 2026–2031.
For the commune level, 102/102 Commune and Ward Election Committees have announced the official list of candidates for People's Council deputies for the 2026–2031 term.
