On October 12, many people in Cao Son 3 residential group, Tan Trieu ward, Thai Nguyen went to the mobile military water filtration station to get clean water for food and drink.
Ms. Pham Thi Cuc (Tan Trieu ward) said that after the flood, clean water for daily use was very scarce, while everything from eating and cleaning the house needed water.
"Knowing that there was a military water filter station to supply water to the people, I took the opportunity to ask for some bottles to use while waiting for clean water to be supplied again. The most necessary thing now is water for drinking," said Ms. Cuc.

Previously, from the afternoon of October 11, 2 military water filtration stations were brought by the Military Institute of Science and Technology to the flooded areas of Thai Nguyen for operation, providing essential domestic water for people.
Currently, 2 mobile military water filtration stations TLN-3.5A deployed in Residential Group 32 (Tan Trieu Ward) and Ben Ca Residential Group (Trung Thanh Ward) have filtered and provided clean water and purified water for drinking to hundreds of households.
The TLN-3.5A military water filtration station is researched, designed and manufactured by the Military Institute of Science and Technology. The system is used to treat water from pollutants into water for daily use and for eating and drinking that meets current standards.
The system has an automatic, continuous operation mode with a capacity of 3.5 m3 of clean water for daily use/hour and 300 liters of purified water/hour, with a crew of 3 people.
Colonel Duong Nhat Dan - Deputy Director of the Military Institute of Science and Technology said that the deployment of mobile military water filtration stations in the flooded areas of Thai Nguyen will help to partly solve the urgent needs of people in flooded areas.
"The working group quickly mobilized to the planned locations and served the people. The water filtration stations are currently operating at full capacity, providing clean water for daily use and purified water for people in the area," said Colonel Duong Nhat Dan.

During the recent historic flood, Thai Nguyen was a province that suffered heavy damage with more than 50 communes and wards in the area and hundreds of thousands of houses submerged in water.
Currently, floodwaters in the central area of Thai Nguyen province have receded, and recovery work has been urgently carried out. However, there are still many difficulties, in which domestic water is still scarce in many places.
Thai Nguyen Clean Water Joint Stock Company is managing and operating 11 water supply plants and water circulation stations in the province. In the central area of Thai Nguyen province, there are 4 water supply plants.
During the recent flood, 2 factories in the central area of Thai Nguyen province were damaged, seriously affecting the clean water supply. This unit is focusing on restoring operations and quickly supplying water back to people to stabilize their lives.
