On November 10, Quang Tri Provincial Police said that Bac Trach Commune Police had just caught many subjects in the area illegally using and storing drugs.
At around 3:00 p.m. on November 7, at S.B karaoke bar (Thanh Khe village, Bac Trach commune), Bac Trach commune police caught 3 subjects red-handed including: Nguyen Che Linh (born in 1986, residing in Vinh Tuong commune, Can Tho city), Le Tan Phung (born in 1991, residing in Lien Huong commune, Lam Dong province) and Cao Thi Anh Nguyet (born in 1996, residing in Minh Xuan village, Minh Hoa commune, Quang Tri province).
At the scene, the police seized a plastic bag containing a white crystalline substance and many tools used for drug use. Initially, the subjects confessed that the crystal substance was crystal meth that had just been used before being arrested.
At the same time, at the private home of Hoang Trong Hieu (born in 2001, residing in Thanh Khe village, Bac Trach commune), the police continued to catch Hieu and Ho Thi Xuan (born in 2003, residing in Dan Hoa commune) in possession of 7 pink tablets.
Through the investigation, it was determined that these tablets were pink synthetic drugs that Hieu had given Xuan to keep. Hieu also stated that he was hiding 22 other pink pills in his private home.
Bac Trach Commune Police have seized all exhibits, made a record of the incident and coordinated with the Investigation Police Agency of Quang Tri Province Police to issue a decision to temporarily detain the subjects for further investigation and handling according to the provisions of law.
