According to Lao Dong, at the headquarters of SJC Company on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street (HCMC), a long line of people lined up to wait for gold transactions. Many people were present from early morning in the hope of buying gold during the day.
Ms. Nguyen Thuy Chi (residing in An Lac ward) shared: "Last week I stopped by the store at 10am but the staff informed me that they had stopped receiving customers so I had to return. Today I arrived earlier, hoping to buy 1 tael of gold ring".
According to the store's regulations, customers who buy gold bars must register online on the website and make normal transactions. For gold rings, customers must queue directly and the quantity sold is limited to 1 tael/person/day.

At many other large gold shops in the city, the number of customers trading is quite large. The demand for gold rings is still very high, so units continue to apply a limited sale form.
"I couldn't buy gold rings so I switched to buying gold jewelry. Although the gold price is at a high level, I still consider this a safe investment channel" - Ms. Le Thanh Thuy said.
In addition, the number of customers coming to sell to make a profit has also increased. Representatives of some stores said that selling transactions in recent days have tended to be more when gold prices are no longer at their peak.
At 10:00 on November 10, in Ho Chi Minh City, the price of SJC gold bars was listed by the enterprise at 147.6 million VND/tael for buying and 149.6 million VND/tael for selling; at Mi Hong it was 148.2 - 149.6 million VND/tael.
The price of gold rings at SJC is at 144.7 - 147.2 million VND/tael (buy - sell); at DOJI is 146.0 - 149.0 million VND/tael; and at Mi Hong is 148.2 - 149.6 million VND/tael.
