Investing 100 billion VND in the new administrative center of Sa Pa
The project to build an internal road system and technical infrastructure for the new administrative center of Sa Pa town (now under Sa Pa ward) was approved by Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee under Decision No. 2129/QD dated August 21, 2024.
This project belongs to Group B, with a total investment of 100 billion VND, invested by the Sa Pa Construction Investment Project Management Board.
As part of the project, Package No. 02: Construction of works + Installment of construction equipment worth more than 91.4 billion VND has selected a construction contractor.
Specifically, according to Decision No. 161/QD-QLDA of the Sa Pa Construction Investment Project Management Board, Hoang Nguyen Construction Investment One Member Co., Ltd. won Package No. 02 with a price of more than VND 91.3 billion.
The above contractor will have a package implementation period of 540 days (from the effective date of the contract). The construction site is in Sa Pa ward.
The scope of work of Package No. 02 is the construction of leveling the site within the project scope according to the approved adjusted planning with an area of about 3 hectares; design the system of traffic routes according to urban road standards, with a total length of about 2.7km (including 6 routes).
Along with that, the package will construct the following items: Wastewater drainage, surface drainage, technical ditches; Water supply; Power supply; Lighting.
Nearly 90 billion VND to build a data center and operate information
The project to build a Data Center and operate information - Yen Bai Telecommunications was approved by the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group under Decision No. 1132/QD-VNPT-KHDT dated December 24, 2024.
This project belongs to Group B, with a total investment of nearly 90 billion VND, invested by Yen Bai Telecommunications.
On August 11, 2025, Yen Bai Telecommunications announced the bidding for Package No. 12: Construction of the main project, auxiliary items and supply, installation of construction equipment for the project.
Package 12 is priced at nearly VND81.7 billion, with a construction period of 700 days. Up to now, there have been no results of contractor selection for this construction package.
In the coming time, after the results of contractor selection, the winning bidder will construct the project at No. 15, Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Yen Bai Ward, Lao Cai Province.
The scope of work of the package is to build a 10-storey office building and a 1-storey attic, with an area of 600m2, and a total construction floor area of 5,950m2.
Along with that are auxiliary items: 70m2 parking lot; earth-breaking wall; Local ground leveling; 333m3 fire water tank; Wastewater treatment tank and wastewater treatment system with a capacity of 10m3/day and night; Internal roads, concrete yard; slope; Infrastructure of electricity, water, fire protection system.
The equipment within the scope of the package provided and installed includes: Elevators; air conditioning and ventilation systems; fire alarm and fighting systems; light power systems, transformer stations and wastewater treatment systems.
The rest is demolition items.
337 billion VND to build a road connecting Ban Vuoc border gate to Y Ty
The project to build a road connecting Ban Vuoc border gate to Y Ty, Coc My - Trinh Tuong section (Km7+500 to Km16) was approved by the People's Committee of the old Bat Xat district under Decision No. 6883/QD-UBND dated October 17, 2022.
This project belongs to Group B, with a total investment of more than 337.5 billion VND, invested by the Bat Xat Construction Investment Project Management Board.
On September 13, the Bat Xat Construction Investment Project Management Board announced the bidding for Package No. 18: Construction + Traffic Safety Assurance + Environmental Protection Fee (Phase 2) of the project.
Package No. 18 is priced at more than 107.5 billion VND, the package implementation period is 450 days. Currently, this construction package is still in the bidding process, and there are no results for contractor selection.
Previously, since the end of 2022, the project has implemented Package No. 05: Construction of works + cost of ensuring traffic safety (Phase 1) with a price of more than 138.3 billion VND (Winning bid price).
Also in the old Bat Xat district, the Lao Cai Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board has recently implemented the project to build a running road along the Red River connecting Ban Vuoc border gate to Y Ty, from Km4+300 to Km7+500, a branch line and a bridge over Ngoi Phat stream with a total investment of 380 billion VND.
