As Lao Dong reported, at around 5:00 p.m. on March 10, at the intersection between Luong Van Can Street and the North-South railway (Km 690+380, An Cuu Ward), a female student driving a motorbike with license plate 38H4-6XXX crossed a self-opened path without a fence and collided with a train.
As a result, the female student suffered multiple injuries and was taken to Hue Central Hospital for emergency treatment.
The cause of the incident is currently being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
There have been many accidents at this intersection. People and the press have repeatedly reported it, but so far the authorities have not had an effective safety plan.
