Hung Yen - The Phuc Khanh traffic intersection project with a total investment of more than 842 billion VND is recording positive changes after many bottlenecks in site clearance were removed.

The Phuc Khanh traffic intersection project has a total investment of more than 842 billion VND, implemented in Tran Hung Dao and Vu Phuc wards, Hung Yen province.

The project is expected to recover nearly 29,600m2 of land from 104 households and organizations; there are 98 households whose land is recovered, and 108 resettlement plots need to be arranged.

According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, after more than a year of delay due to problems in site clearance (GPMB), the project is having positive changes when many areas have been handed over to the construction unit.

Construction and installation items are also being accelerated in areas where land has been cleared. In which, the construction of the girder slab of the Kien Giang canal overpass, the construction of reinforced concrete piles, and the deployment of many items such as box culverts on the Bach canal, retaining walls and auxiliary works are being carried out.

Along with the construction progress, site clearance work has also made clear progress. At the end of June, when the People's Committee of Vu Phuc ward organized land recovery enforcement against 3 households that had not complied with the land recovery decision. After receiving the site, the contractor immediately deployed the construction of the Kien Giang canal overpass items. Up to now, site clearance work in Vu Phuc ward has basically been completed, creating conditions for many items to be deployed simultaneously.

Meanwhile, the remaining site clearance volume is mainly concentrated in Tran Hung Dao ward. To date, the locality has approved compensation plans for 54 households with a total budget of more than 263 billion VND. Most households have received money and handed over the land; the remaining cases are being completed dossiers to submit to competent authorities for consideration.

According to the Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2, the biggest difficulty currently is still completing site clearance at some locations and relocating technical infrastructure works such as electricity, water supply, and telecommunications. When the entire site is handed over, the contractor will mobilize maximum manpower and equipment to accelerate construction, striving to compensate for the delayed progress.
