On the afternoon of July 16, Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen surveyed the reality at Dun bridge across the Tien Hung River, connecting Than Khe and Tien Hung communes to grasp the situation, listen to the opinions of local authorities and people on handling toll collection activities across the bridge.
Dun bridge was invested and built by Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Riec from 2005, completed and put into use in 2007, replacing the ferry wharf across the Tien Hung River before.

However, before the development requirements in the new period, especially the province's policy on synchronous infrastructure investment, prioritizing the development of transport infrastructure, creating convenience for people to travel, the continued organization of toll collection through Dun bridge is considered no longer appropriate.
Through actual surveys, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen acknowledged and highly appreciated Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Riec's contributions in investing in building Dun bridge, replacing ferry wharves, ensuring traffic safety, serving people's travel needs and contributing to the development of the locality in nearly 20 years.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also expressed his wish that Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Riec would continue to accompany the province's development policy, creating the most favorable conditions for people to travel and meet development requirements in the new period.
After exchanging, listening to opinions and being propagated and mobilized, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Riec expressed his agreement with the province's policy, voluntarily dismantling the toll collection point to create favorable conditions for people to travel through the bridge.
Right from 3 pm on July 16, the dismantling of the toll collection point was deployed. From this time, vehicles traveling through Dun bridge no longer have to pay tolls.
