On May 5, according to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, many works within the Ring Road 2.5 project section Nguyen Trai (National Highway 6) - Dam Hong in Khuong Dinh ward (Hanoi) have been demolished to serve construction work.
In Sao Vang Rubber Residential Area (alley 41 Khuong Dinh), besides the demolished works, relevant units are also deploying the felling and relocation of many green trees to hand over clean ground to the contractor building Ring Road 2.5.
Mr. Le Van Hung (resident of Khuong Dinh ward) said that he and many other households in Khuong Dinh ward understand the importance of the Ring Road 2.5 project.
Up to now, many households have agreed to hand over the land for the common good. People expect the land acquisition work to be completed soon to move to the construction phase.
When this road is completed, it will not only solve the prolonged traffic jam but also open up a more modern and spacious living space for the people of the Capital" - Mr. Hung said.
And at the end point of the route (Dam Hong area), about 300m of clean ground has been handed over to the construction unit.
At the construction site, the contractor is mobilizing many machines to deploy the construction of items, ensuring the set progress requirements.
The Ring Road 2.5 project, Nguyen Trai - Dam Hong section, has a length of 1,520m, with a cross-section scale of 40m of roadbed.
This is a group A project, with a total investment of more than 2,432 billion VND; of which, site clearance costs account for more than 2,001 billion VND.
The total land area to be recovered is 60,902.1 m2, involving 736 cases, including 16 organizations and 720 households and individuals.
According to the People's Committee of Khuong Dinh ward, the site clearance for the Ring Road 2.5 project has been identified by the Party Committee and government of Khuong Dinh ward as a key task, with the strong involvement of the entire political system and functional forces in the area with a drastic, synchronous and highly responsible spirit.
As of May 3, the recovered land area reached 41,308.2 m2 out of a total of 60,902.1 m2, equivalent to 67.83%.
This result is not only proof of the determination of the Party Committee and local authorities but also shows the consensus and support of the people in the area.
Khuong Dinh Ward People's Committee said that the workload ahead is still large, so in the coming time, the functional forces of the ward will continue to maintain the spirit of responsibility and accelerate further in deploying the remaining tasks.
With high political determination, the synchronous involvement of the entire system and the consensus of the people, the Ring Road 2.5 project in Khuong Dinh ward is expected to be completed on schedule, contributing to completing transport infrastructure and promoting socio-economic development of the Capital in the coming time.
