Discovered a facility selling cosmetics of unknown origin in Nam Dinh

Hà Vi |

Nam Dinh - A business in Nam Dinh province was recently discovered selling cosmetics of unknown origin.

On December 3, the Market Management Department of Nam Dinh province informed that after a period of monitoring and managing the area in combination with reports from the people, on November 27, Market Management Team No. 1 of the Market Management Department of Nam Dinh province conducted a surprise inspection of the Toc Xinh business household (located in Nhan Phu village, My Thuan commune, Nam Dinh city) owned by Mr. Tran Tuan Cuong.

At the time of inspection, the inspection team discovered 1,200 cosmetic products on display at the store, including various hair dyes with signs of unknown origin.

The inspection team temporarily detained and sealed all the above goods. The total value of the goods was nearly 50 million VND.

Through the verification process, all of the above cosmetics did not have invoices or legal documents proving the origin of the goods. At the same time, Toc Xinh business household operated at many locations but did not notify the competent authorities where the business was conducted.

On November 29, Market Management Team No. 1 made a record of administrative violations against the Toc Xinh business household for two acts of trading in goods of unknown origin; conducting business activities at many locations but not notifying the district-level business registration agency where the business household is located, the tax authority, and the market management agency.

Currently, the authorities continue to handle the case according to the provisions of law.
