On November 18, the Market Management Department of Nam Dinh province informed that after more than a month of monitoring, Market Management Team No. 4 discovered a subject with a warehouse of goods for business in Son Hong hamlet, Giao Ha commune, Giao Thuy district, Nam Dinh province. Previously, on November 13, Market Management Team No. 4 coordinated with the Economic and Drug Crime Investigation Police Team of Giao Thuy District Police to inspect the above warehouse.
At the time of inspection, the authorities discovered 200 puffer jackets of unknown origin, estimated value at 25 million VND.
Working with the inspection team, Mr. P.Q.D (business owner) said that his business was using the e-commerce platform TikTok Shop to post images and receive orders to sell the above-mentioned products with signs of unknown origin. The number of products purchased from many different addresses in Nam Dinh province did not have invoices or documents proving the origin of the goods, did not have contracts, sales invoices, customs declarations, or documents proving legal ownership of the goods according to the law.
Market Management Team No. 4 has drawn up a record of administrative violations, temporarily detained the above-mentioned puffer jackets of unknown origin, and reported the handling of the case according to the provisions of the law.
