Quang Binh - The authorities temporarily detained hundreds of cosmetic products of unknown origin at a business establishment in Nam Ly Ward, Dong Hoi City.

On June 10, the Department of Health of Quang Binh province said that it had just discovered and drawn up a record of administrative violations against a cosmetic business household in Dong Hoi city for trading in goods of unknown origin.

During the inspection of compliance with the law on the production and trading of pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, the specialized inspection team of the Department of Health discovered that Tuan Lai business establishment (Nam Ly ward) was selling 382 cosmetic products produced abroad but could not present invoices, documents or any legal documents proving their legal origin.

The violating products include 11 different types of cosmetics, with a total value listed at the store of more than 18 million VND. The inspection team drew up a record, determined that the violation was trading in smuggled goods, and at the same time sealed and temporarily detained all the exhibits to serve the investigation and handling according to the provisions of law.
